Welcome to the Inotia 4 Assassin Build! The Assassin has the best DPS and is a overpowered killing machine. For a new player investing in the right stats this game can be much easier than with other characters. Be sure to check back in the near future because this guide is not complete and will be updated regularly. If you have any questions or something you’d like to add feel free to leave it in the comments. Check out the Inotia 4 Guide Wiki for all you need to succeed!
To figure out what would be the best to invest in I accumulated 10 stat points then saved. I then put 10 points in 1 stat and noted the increase with normal and skill attacks as well as critical damage. Then I exited to the main menu without saving and repeated on all stats. DEX come out on top overall.
By investing in DEX you’ll also get increased H.RATE and EVD. 2 of your higher skills get a better bonus from STR instead including an AOE, but since they won’t be used that often it’s best to load up on DEX for the early skills you’ll use a ton. Plus, it’s better to have more single target power for bosses and hit and runs. Later when you use dice to increase all your stats you’ll get a very nice boost to DPS with normal ATK DMG which will be higher than all other characters. Here’s a stat guide for everyone you can use to compare all at once.
Daggers are the obvious choice for your main left hand because their the strongest weapons when you add in the speed regardless of who your playing. The best ones can be found at fusion machines unless you get an uber drop. For the off hand you want to use the hardest hitting weapon you can find since speed isn’t a factor and will trigger accordingly with your Twin Blade skill.
You can check out my Fusion Machine Guide for more information on the items it contains and where to find ingredients.
First Main and Off-hand Wespons - The first Fusion Machine in Shadow Hall has a Dagger call Passivity that can be used at level 13. You won’t get a better dagger than this until level 27 so feel free to use your weapon upgrade scrolls. This machine also contains a very good Long Sword for the off hand called Durandal.
Lvl 27 Dagger of Darkness - Receive after rescuing Elder from Fort of Screams
Use leather armor for critical chance increase. Some of the best armor in the game is at fusion machines. Unless you get lucky and find a good drop. It’s also a good idea to keep the strongest piece of Plate armor you find on hand for tough areas and boss battles.
First good Plate Armor – Lvl 18 Balrog Mail – Found at the Lvl 14 area Hakan Desert 5 Fusion Machine. It starts off with 188 armor then I used 3 novice armor upgrade scrolls and got a +4 for 332 armor.
By the end of the game you will have upgrade all but about 2. Finding Elixir potions as random drops will give you skill points without leveling and depending on your luck you may do better. Keep in mind that around level 50 or so you’ll start to get books that will allow you to increase skills past their max level, but they will need to be maxed out to do so. So its a good idea to have your most used ones at their highest levels by then.
Max these ASAP:
Continues Slash – Main special attack used the most
Twin Blade – Better passive chance for off hand weapon to strike with normal attacks and greater critical damage.
Spiritual Blade – Costs nothing and refills mana when attacking enemies.
Fortitude – Has a passive chance while evading to reset all skill cool down times
Poison Touch – Poisons an enemies for increased DPS.
